I usually don't dignify those nubs with answers. One reason, all by himself, is Mikael Åkerfeldt.
He could well have the most versatile voice in music today, yes, music as a whole. On one hand he has a scarily refined clean vocal, combined with the raw, aggressive growl that he can unleash... is just amazing. To top it off, his musicianmanship and lyrical talent is beyond most people... simply a heightened human being.
And he is one of many...
