the frail, the fragile, just like you imagined

as i walked into school around 7pm on a saturday night, i witnessed stanley and a few other full-times having a good time... just mucking around.

heading towards my locker i saw ms. page, and we saluted and she talked to me about how impressed she was with my running, and not bragging but that's a situation that i find myself in more often then others... but she said something that stumped me. she said thank-you, now, not only did that make my night, it got me thinking.

i thought about why she said it, analyzing what inflection she used, and now i wonder... if i was in that situation, why would i say thank you.

there are many reasons, but then i came back to the original feelings that resulted. two words made me tick that night as a good night.
