Mosh Code

The (no-longer) Unwritten Code of the Pit.

Mosher = Someone in the pit who's there for the music, not to cheap shot someone else, not to start a fight, not to be 'cool' or 'scene'.

• Thou shalt not target a fellow mosher.
• Thou shalt not hold grudges.
• Thou shalt not throw knees.
• Thou shalt not be overly fisty, nor elbowy.
• Thou shalt help another mosher get up to surf, if unable, find someone who can.
• Thou shalt help female moshers when required.
• Thou shalt get a fellow mosher of the ground as soon as possible.
• Thou shalt get another mosher to the front (security) if they're in trouble.
• Thou shalt protect smaller moshers.
